-
Develop Phase Deliverables
-

-
Distribute Phase Deliverables
Why
The creating of deliverables is the major manner in which a project's progress is tracked. While many project deliverables are only useful during the life of the project and do not survive the project, they are still important as part of the project lifecycle. In many projects, the progress payment for each project lifecycle phase is tied to the production and acceptance of a deliverable.
When and Where
This technique is used throughout the whole project lifecycle and is not limited to any specific project lifecycle phase.
How
Identify at the first possible opportunity a complete list of project deliverables. Document this by project lifecycle phase. Ensure every Project Team members understands who is responsible for the production of each deliverable. This is usually done during Participants' Training.
