Commonwealth Bank Chooses PMComplete™
PMComplete™ has been chosen by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for the administration of training for its CommSee project, one of the largest CRM and business transformational projects currently being run in Australia.
This entails managing the training for 21,000 staff. Each staff member is scheduled to receive at least one face-to-face course.
PMComplete™ is used to keep details about courses, schedule when each of the courses are delivered, schedule the venues, schedule the presenters and schedule the participants.
22 different courses (tailored to each participant's role) have currently been identified to be delivered at 30 different venues by approximately 40 different presenters.
Over 4,500 people have currently been trained.
Course design as well as scheduling of when and where courses will be delivered is performed by a central group. Each of the 56 Area Co-Ordinators then takes over and schedules the participants from their area onto these courses.
PMComplete Pty Ltd provided 4.5 person days of consulting and training support to The Bank before the central group was able to become self-sufficient and confident enough to operate the system themselves.
Being Internet-based allows The Bank's presenters to update the system at night, immediately after each course is delivered, from their hotel rooms as well as over the weekend plan for their next week.
Being able to break the 21,000 people up into manageable groups via the PMComplete™ workgroup feature also facilitates ease of use. Having drop-down lists of people makes it easier and faster to find people, rather than requiring knowing a person's staff number.
To ease the data entry burden, participant data is exported from The Bank's "Churn Sheets" and imported into PMComplete™.
At the end of the CommSee project the data will be exported from PMComplete™ and imported into PeopleSoft (The Bank's Human Resource system of record).
PMComplete Pty Ltd hosts and provides technical system administration services for PMComplete™ on behalf of The Bank. The Bank's central group perform all of their own business system administration activities, adding approximately 3 new PMComplete™ users per week.
