Each of the above listed items consists of multiple PMComplete™ functions allowing you to add new records, change, replicate, delete and list existing records, chart, enquire and report on records, add an unlimited number of soft copy document attachments to records, classify records, monitor their status through their life cycle, sort the displays into a variety of sequences, print reports, drill-down on reports and e-mail these reports and view a check list of issues to address.
You can record details about all products, tools and services that you need to manage. These can be products and services that you make and/or can include those that you use. You may need to manage those that you use from a contracts perspective and/or a skills perspective.
Using the document management system, you can upload (attach) and manage product specifications, System User documentation, support documentation, brochures and other product-oriented materials.
From a product development perspective, you can record how well products align with business objectives. From a support perspective, you can record what products constitute your Standard Operating Environment (SOE) together with any dispensations/exemptions that you have given to use products, tools and services that are variations to this SOE.
You can record all people who have been trained in a product.
You can record details about who has what level of skill in each product, tool and service. This can take the form of a simple rating of their current skill level or it can extend to what the enterprise wants their skill level to be as well as the person's personal desired skill level. This then forms the basis of the PMComplete™ skills data base which can be searched to find people with specific skills (eg, by Service Desk staff to escalate service calls to or by resource management/project management staff when looking for project team members).
You can record which companies are involved with each product (eg, who makes it, who sold it and who supports it).
You can record details about product relationships (eg, product substitutes and replacements).
Complaint and Problem Management
You can record details about product complaints and problems.
You can monitor the status of these through to completion by way of a number of different reports.

Service calls can spawn work orders (eg, for moves, adds and changes).
Service calls can spawn project changes and variations.
Service calls can spawn complaints and problems.
Service Desk Agents can locate people with product skills. They can also locate who is responsible for supporting and maintaining each product. They can also identify who in a Client's organisation has been trained in each product.
There is a specific Service Desk dashboard.
Service Desk Agents can post their time on timesheets to specific service calls so that the total cost and work effort can be monitored for each service call.
You can monitor the status of service calls using a variety of reports and charts.
